A Seniors' Home-based Exercise Plan: Improve Your Balance

 

Falls are the leading cause of injury, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations for seniors in North America.

In this interactive workshop, Amanda Sterczyk, fitness instructor, will teach participants how to incorporate foundational exercises into their daily lives to improve their balance and prevent falls. The exercises don’t require special equipment or the need to get on the floor. Each exercise also includes modifications on how to make it easier or harder, depending on abilities.
