Self-Shooting Photography Techniques

If you have a DSLR, point-and-shoot, or even just a cell phone, you can take great photos of yourself and others. In this course, you’ll learn about how cameras work so that you can take great pictures, with a special focus on taking pictures of yourself, which is normally hard to do alone. In this demo class, we will talk about using tripods, remotes, and stuff around your house to make a studio environment in which to take photos. We will make the most of your tools by also showing you how to go outside to get shots!

This program is taught by cosplayer Jessica Harkonnen.

About Jessica Harkonnen

Jessica considers herself a “Cosplay Engineer” because she makes things that are big enough that they need, well, engineering, to be possible. Jessica also regularly participates in panels at conventions because she loves to share her skills to help all cosplayers make their dreams into real costumes. Jessica is an ally and wants to make her panels a safe place for everyone to learn.

Registration required. Registrants will receive an additional email with the Zoom link ahead of the program.
