About Susan Toman, Celtic harp

Susan Toman is a versatile musician who divides her time between the Celtic harp, piano, and harpsichord. Only after completing her Doctorate in harpsichord at McGill University did Susan take up the Celtic harp, fueled by a love of Irish & Scottish music. She trained on harp with Grainne Hambly in County Mayo, Ireland.

In addition to performing solo and collaborative concerts, Susan frequently performs at weddings and corporate events. Notable performances include the NAC's Fourth Stage, Landsdowne Pavillion, St.Brigid’s Centre, the Irish Ambassador's residence, as well as many local concert series. Find her on the web at www.susantoman.com.

About Justin Theriault, flute

For the past twelve years Justin has been spending his time exploring Irish traditional music, seeking out recordings of long-gone players, playing in sessions in pubs and at festivals in Ottawa, Toronto, New York and Ireland, all the while building a deep repertoire of tunes.

Justin started his traditional journey playing the tin whistle, later on upgrading to the wooden flute, and more recently has taken up the uilleann pipes, one of Ireland’s national instruments.
