What You Should Know About SEO & Accessibility for Your Website: Tech and Marketing for Nonprofits Group

When businesses (profit or nonprofit) develop a website, they often think about mobile responsiveness and aesthetics; however, they also need to plan for SEO and Accessibility.  Search engine optimization (SEO) is key to being seen.  Accessibility is critical and is the law, yet accessibility guidelines are in a huge state of flux, leaving much uncertainty about what to do and what not to do. Join Ed Brandon for a solid introduction to both objectives and tips for achieving them.

Ed Brandon has an extensive background in computer programming and software development.  He has also been very involved in international development.  From 2005 to 2017, he was webmaster for the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA).

This session is hosted by the  Ottawa Technology and Digital Marketing for Nonprofits Group, organized by Osamu Wakabayashi, web design consultant of ZenIdeas. In partnership with the Ottawa Public Library, the Group meets at Emerald Plaza Branch.
