Wikipedia Editing Workshop

Have you ever considered becoming a Wikipedia editor? This workshop is a hands-on event in which participants learn how to start editing Wikipedia with the help of trained and experienced Wikipedia editors. From setting up an account, to learning the anatomy of a good article, participants will be given the skills to add to and better understand one of the world's largest and most consulted online repositories of knowledge. Library staff will be on-hand to assist in providing reference material. Participants have the choice of using lab computers, library Chromebooks (please bring your library card) or their own devices. Registration is necessary because space is limited.
