The Grizzlies: Indigenous Film Series

About the movie

This movie is inspired by a true story and is set in Kugluktuk, Nunavut. In a community where despair, violence, drugs and alcohol lead a lot of the villagers to commit suicide, a group of Inuit students' lives are transformed when they are introduced to the sport of lacrosse.

Followed by a discussion in English
