Library customers and community invited to celebrate 50th anniversary of Centennial branch of OPL

Ottawa – The Centennial branch of the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is celebrating its 50th anniversary! This year marks a major milestone for the busy, popular branch serving the community through programs, cultural events, and activities that promote learning, literacy, and bring people in the neighbourhood together.

The public is invited to join in the celebration with a day of live music, family storytime, crafts, and activities for all ages, refreshments and much more!  The celebrations are taking place on Saturday, September 30, between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

OPL’s Centennial branch is located at 3870 Old Richmond Road.
