Bringing mindfulness to the family environment improves our compassion, connection, and emotional wellness of each of our family members.  The practice of mindfulness also services to change our relationship to stress. This workshop will be interactive and involve mindful exercises, and opportunities to develop concrete plans to implement mindful practices in your daily lives.   We will share resources and a handout as well.  Attendees will be able to participate and ask questions in English or French.

This free 1 1/2 hour workshop will be run by Rebekka Wallace Roy, Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, of Be Brave, Be Kind, Be Present.

The workshop is offered by Ottawa Public Library for Mental Health Week.

You can attend on Zoom (register to receive a link) or on OPL's Facebook Live https://www.facebook.com/BiblioOttawaLibrary/posts/2040849439386400
