OPL Teen Author Fest welcomes 12 Canadian authors

Ottawa – As part of OPL’s yearlong celebration of storytelling and in line with the theme for October: Storytelling through Novels and Short Stories, OPL is delighted to welcome 12 Canadian authors to this year’s Teen Author Fest, happening Saturday, October 21 at the Main branch of the Ottawa Public library (120 Metcalfe St.), from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

 

No matter your literary taste, Teen Author Fest is an opportunity for book lovers of all ages to participate in discussions with great authors of the Young Adult (YA) genre and to connect with other YA fans and readers.

For the most enthusiastic followers of OPL’s Teen Services programs and events, some of the authors’ names will be familiar. Erin Bow, Don Calame, Alan Cumyn, Shalta Dicaire Fardin & Sarah Sahagian, and Pierre-Yves Villeneuve all had their novel take part in OPL’s summer program: Battle of The Books/Combat des livres. In fact, Pierre-Yves Villeneuve’s Gamer series was the winner of the French stream in this past summer’s exciting battle.
