Orange Shirt Day: Live Stories

Join us online for live stories. During this special program, a library staff member will read an indigenous book followed by a special storyteller guest's appearance. For children ages 6 – 10.

The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door to a global conversation on all aspects of Residential Schools. It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussions about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind. A discussion, all Canadians can tune into and create bridges with each other for reconciliation. To find out more and learn about Phyllis’ story visit https://www.orangeshirtday.org/.
