Ottawa Public Library hosts programs to celebrate cultural diversity

Ottawa – The Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is holding its fifth annual “Celebrating Cultures in our Community” series of programs across the city at various branches, in conjunction with the Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership’s Welcoming Ottawa Week.

This series of free programs is held to showcase the rich mosaic of cultures that make up Ottawa. Everyone and anyone can come, meet new people and discover traditions, music, dance, films, stories and crafts from Chinese, African, Indian, and many more different cultures. Last year, over 600 customers attended these programs.
