    Do you need help with your tax return? If you have a modest income and a simple tax situation, trained volunteers may be able to complete your tax return for you for free. Ottawa Public Library is partnering with the Canada Revenue Agency to offer free tax preparation through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).

    Avez-vous besoin d'aide pour préparer vos impôts? Si vous avez un revenu modeste et une situation fiscale simple, des bénévoles formés pourront vous aider à remplir votre déclaration de revenus et ce, gratuitement. La Bibliothèque publique d'Ottawa collabore avec son partenaire, l'Agence du Revenu du Canada, afin d'offrir ces comptoirs d'impôts gratuits grâce au Programme communautaire des bénévoles en matière d’impôt (PCBMI).

    Do you need help with your tax return? If you have a modest income and a simple tax situation, trained volunteers may be able to complete your tax return for you for free. Ottawa Public Library is partnering with the Canada Revenue Agency to offer free tax preparation through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

    The Ruth E. Dickinson branch will be offering free tax clinics in English on a first-come, first-served basis. 

    Before arriving at the free tax clinics, you must verify whether you meet the Canada Revenue Agency’s eligibility criteria and ensure to bring the appropriate documentation with you. Our volunteers will not process self-employment or business taxes.
