    This program is for adults only. 

    Join a professional from the Chartered Professional ​ Accountants of Canada to learn how to address age ​appropriate money-related topics with young kids, pre-teens, teenagers and emerging adults. Topics such as the evolution of financial decisions throughout childhood, giving allowances, budgeting, credit cards, cell phones, and virtual spending will be covered. ​

    Ages 6 - 12 years old (we will have crafts for younger siblings too).

    Learn to speak Wookie (or Wookie sounds): make your own loyal Droid Cubecraft; test a saber in dual circle; complete a scavenger hunt; learn the planets in the Star Wars universe; fly your plane through the death star and knock down some Stormtroopers. For the younger ones: make a Chewbacca puppet and a yoda or lei bun headband. Origami Yoda awaits you! (yes, we have to say it: May the 4th be with you!).

    If your Windows computer is getting sluggish, you don't have to re-install Windows just to gain back lost performance. Chris Taylor, President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group will demonstrate and explain how to safely use many native and free 3rd party tools that can help speed up Windows. ​

    We are told: don't write down passwords; don't reuse passwords; make passwords long and complex. Chris Taylor, President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group will show how to use free software that stores all your usernames and passwords along with related information and protects them with a single, very strong password. Don't let your online accounts get compromised. It's easy and free.

    Presented by Dying With Dignity Canada (Ottawa Chapter), End of Life Options (including MAiD) is a workshop to educate people about the options available to mitigate or end suffering at life's end, including palliative care, treatment options, and Medical Assistance In Dying (MAiD). Workshop includes the current legislation on MAiD, the process for applying in Ontario and explanation of the experience by a loved one.
