There are very few classical mandolin players in the modern world and Barry has been playing this instrument since he was six years old. As a teenager, he was a first mandolinist in the Montreal Mandolin Orchestra. He has played with many ensembles in the United States, Europe and Montreal. He currently studies classical mandolin with Jacob Reuven, a world class touring all-star in the classical mandolin world.
