    Join our weekly Reading Buddies program. ​Each child will be paired with a teen volunteer for ​fun and interactive, 30-minute read aloud sessions. ​

    Registration is required for this program.

    Bring your friends & family in for exciting card games, board games, & brain teasers! We have many games including Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo, Dutch Blitz, Bananagrams, Scrabble, Monopoly, Checkers, Chess, & more! You may also bring some of your own. Brain teasers include puzzles, riddles, & Rubik’s cubes.

    Join us for a free screening of Wild at Heart as part of our "On the Road" movie theme for January. The film was directed by David Lynch and was released in 1990. The screening will take place in our auditorium, starts at 6:00PM and is free to attend.

    Note: The film is intended for a mature audience. 124 minutes. In English with subtitles.

    Get feedback on your writing (any genre) and ideas from the group. Hear the work of other writers and offer your feedback. Discuss issues about writing and publishing. Share your triumphs, trials and tribulations with a supportive, informal group.  "Pen and Paper" is just a name.  Bring any medium you want.

Margaret endeavours to assist English learners strengthen their language skills through engaging conversations and discussions of some of the practical and cultural intricacies of living in Canada.
