    Storytelling Open Mic is a perfect place for newcomers to discover oral storytelling in a warm and supportive atmosphere or for more experienced tellers to test out new stories. Listeners are needed and welcome! You will hear folk tales, historical pieces, fractured fairy tales, true personal stories, recitations, ballads, and original stories - ranging from funny to poignant. Attendees can listen or tell a story 5-10 minutes long. In collaboration with Ottawa Storytellers.

    The book club  meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10:15-11:30 except July, August and December, when there is no meeting. You can place a hold on library copies in advance.

    Learn to create beautiful, delicate, raised images from paper strips. You’ll use a few basic tools to wind the paper strips into coils to create a note card. All levels are welcome.
