Come to the Richmond branch and write Santa a letter to let him know you've been extra good this year, and don't forget to share with him your hopes for Christmas morning surprises! Remember to include your name, age and address to receive a letter back from the big guy in red!

Every year in November, writers of all shapes, sizes, and genres come together to tackle National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). With a goal of writing 50,000 words in 30 days, the event challenges both aspiring and experienced novelists to prioritize putting pen to page to see what they can accomplish.

With November in full swing, you’re invited to join your fellow writers and the local Ottawa event coordinators for a “Write-in”: dedicated work time where you can bask in the camaraderie and creativity of your fellow writers as you sit down and put words on the page!

Find out more about NaNoWrimo here!

  • The NaNoWriMo crest stands against a blue field. It is a shield containing a cup of coffee, two pens crossed in the shape of an x, a ream of paper, and a laptop. On top of it rests a horned helmet. Two quills in their respective inkwell are on the sides.
