    Get Crafty!

    Learn how to knit, crochet and/or cross-stitch by starting a small project. We have all the supplies you need to satisfy your creativity!

    Registration required. Ages 7 +

    Brico en fête!

    Apprenez à tricoter, crocheter et/ou faire du point de croix en démarrant un petit projet. On a tout ce qu’il te faut pour que tu puisses satisfaire l’artiste en toi!

    An open house for persons with dementia, their care partners, and families. 

    Fun and stimulating mental activities are planned to enhance the social interactions and connections built within the group. Light snacks and warm drinks are served alongside items that aim to spark conversations and reminiscing. 

    If there's anything you would like to bring based on this weeks theme, we would love to see and hear about it!

    This program is drop-in, but if you choose to register you will receive a reminder email.

    For this program, Parrot Partners will bring at least 3 parrots, from different areas of the world, ranging in size from very small and "spunky" to massive and "mellow". We introduce each parrot, one at a time, and share interesting and entertaining facts and stories about their natures and lives in the wild and in our homes. Participants will be offered the opportunity to give our parrots a treat or drink from a safety cup or feeding skewer, as well as pose for photos with the parrots. Family program for ages 4+. Registration required.

    Parrot Partners is the only rehabilitation program for Parrots in Canada that combines professional training, education, and rehabilitation in the charitable service of relinquished and misunderstood parrots.

    Take a closer look at creatures, feathered, furred, and finned. Fantastic beasts are welcome too.

    We will become animal tracking detectives. It will be our mission to recognize and match animals to the clues that they leave behind them.

    Make your own dreamcatchers to bring home! Led by an ambassador from Indigenous Experiences, participants will create their own dreamcatcher and learn about the traditional origin story of dreamcatchers. For children ages 8-12. Registration required.
