    Learning to read or reading on your own, come in and meet new people and talk about great new  or old books. Listen to a read aloud, share your favourite book or just come and get some fresh ideas on what to read next. All while making a craft or two!

    Ages 4 to 6 (parental attendance is optional but not required). Please register with a library card.

    We will photograph your work and post it on our board!

    See the world through Cubetto's eyes! Create your own Cubetto adventure while learning the basics of computer programming.  Children will design their own Cubetto storyline and prop, and then test their creation. Ages 7-12. Registration Required.

    The YOU-nique program is all about empowering what makes you – and the animals around you - unique. Discover each animal's unique adaptation, how it makes them all special and how all the animals also benefit from each other's unique characteristics to overcome and problem-solve together. This program will feature LIVE animals, including the chance to touch some. Ages 4-8.

Create a zipline while investigating gravity. Design a roller coaster to meet a challenge. It’s all about the physics of riding ‘n’ rolling! Presented by Scientists in Schools. Ages 8-12.

This lab is equipped with bookable work stations that allow you to digitize your old photographs, slides and negatives, as well as your VHS tapes and 8mm film reels. This tour will be an orientation of the equipment, the stations and the online booking system.
