    Whether you're new to baking or well seasoned, this new book club is the perfect place to meet fellow bakers, try new recipes and share both the successes and failures of your bakes.

    We will bake from and discuss a different cookbook every month. Limited copies of the book will be available to check out in advance at the main Nepean Centerpointe library hub - just ask one of the staff for a copy of the baking club cookbook. 

    Sessions will be held on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30pm to 8:00pm. All are welcome!

    STEAM themed Family Storytime - All ages, accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hands-on activities and stories to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

    Spanish-English Storytime – All ages. Cuentos, rimas y canciones para niños de todas las edades, acompañados de un padre o guardian. No necesita inscribirse.

    Want to learn more about your family history or getting stuck working on your family tree?  

    Drop-in to work on your family tree, share research strategies, and discover what resources are available for your research. Sessions are held every other Tuesday at 2:00pm in the Genealogy area. 

    Specialists from the Ontario Genealogical Society Ottawa Branch and the Ottawa Public Library will answer questions and help you get the most from library resources.  

    Bring your laptop, tablet, or borrow a Chromebook from the library.

    Every second Thursday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

    This program is designed to introduce clients to 3D printing at the Imagine Space. We will teach about how 3D printing works, how to prepare a file for 3D printing, and how to use the MakerBot software to produce the best and most efficient 3D printing projects on our MakerBot Replicator+ 3D printers. Some computer knowledge helpful, but not essential. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian. Registration Required.

    Ages 13-18

    Find community, be yourself, and come hang out with other teens in this monthly drop-in social. Chat, listen to music, or participate in the optional activity. 

    The optional activity changes every month and could include board games, origami, making friendship bracelets, or making zines.
