    The 4th native plant workshop presented by the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library will discuss:

    Myths about Spring Cleaning, and how to gently prepare your garden for spring planting

    Lifecycle of key pollinators à focus on birds, bees and other pollinators and what they need at this time of year from your garden.

    Now is the time to tackle the invasive species – tips and resources to help.

    Things to watch out for – worms, cultivars, nativars, and more.

    How to transplant winter-sown seedlings into larger pots/ground. Demonstration seedlings, pots and soil will be provided.

    How to participate in upcoming OWSL Free Seed, Seedling & Plant exchanges and other local native plant swaps and sales

We will be joined by local author, Nancy Lauzon, for a discussion on all things Nancy Drew, from the origins of the series to Nancy Drew Sleuth conventions!  Nancy will also bring her varied Nancy Drew collection for perusing.
