Teams of two teen volunteers will share their technology knowledge with one older adult per session.
Volunteers will help older adults with basic use of devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. Some subjects that can be addressed include internet applications like browsers, email, calendars, social media, games, and file and photo management, such as Google Suite, OneDrive, and iCloud.

60 minutesAttend the second workshop of our "Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL) Presents..." series.
During this workshop, we will discuss different types of pollinators/wildlife and how they have evolved with native plants to be their pollination and distribution systems. We will also examine factors to be considered when choosing plants for your personal garden, ensuring plant selection for the conditions you have.Examples of simple plans/combinations will be provided.
Materials will be available for clients to sketch out plans for their yard.
