Margaret is an accredited teacher of English as a Second Language with more than 8 years experience in teaching adults who are new to Canada. Margaret endeavours to assist English learners strengthen their language skills through engaging conversations and discussions of some of the practical and cultural intricacies of living in Canada.

Wednesday, October 4 – Nature Journalling

Join us for an introduction to the art of nature journalling. Reflect on nature interactions in your everyday life through guided prompts.

Wednesday, November 1 – Paint a terracotta pot

Give your favourite house plant an upgraded home by joining us to paint a terracotta pot. Follow along with the guided instructions or go rogue and follow your imagination.  

Wednesday, December 6 – Holiday card making or gift tag making

Welcome in the season as we make decorative cards and gift tags for the occasion of your choice. 

All materials will be provided. Artistic talent not required!

An open house for persons with dementia, their care partners, and families.

Fun and stimulating mental activities are planned to enhance the social interactions and the connections that are built within the group. Light snacks and warm drinks are served alongside items that aim to spark conversations and reminiscing.

First Thursday of each month (starts in May 2023). 1-3pm.
