    Learn the basics of how to make colourful knotted bracelets out of thread!

    We will demonstrate two beginner patters - diagonal lines and arrowheads/chevrons - to help you build the fundamental skills you can adapt into more complicated patterns.

    Use the supplies provided, or feel free to bring your own embroidery floss!

    This program offers the chance to teens to meet and interact with therapy dogs, and to de-stress. Therapy dogs are specially trained full grown dogs and work with a handler. Take a few minutes to read or colour with a dog, or just soak in the good vibes.

    Drop-in program for ages 13 and up.

    It's March Break and an eccentric relative has invited you on a surprise holiday someplace warm - if you can figure out the clues at the airport!

    Work together with other teens to solve the clues and unlock the way to your sunny escape!

    We will learn curious facts about animal tracks and even go on an expedition within the library!

    Curious about Dungeons and Dragons? Give it a try with this one-session-long adventure for beginners! 

    D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which your characters explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Learn the basic rules of this popular game as you undertake an adventure with fellow players!  

    This adventure uses pre-generated characters, so you must register at least 5 days ahead of time to bid of your preference of character and get your info sheet before game-day. Late registrants will be assigned a random character.

    Get creative with watercolours and wax. Traditional watercolours, including a fun wax resist technique.  It's all about going outside the lines and adding shape, shadow, pattern and dimension.

Discover physics by engineering a better hockey puck and building a mini golf course. Join us as we shoot, score and explore the science of sport. Presented by Scientists in Schools. Ages 8-12.
