Some in-branch programs require registration with your library card. Please log in with your library account or follow this link to apply for a card online. You can also apply for a card in person at any of our 33 locations.

  • Tween Game Night

    Do you love board games? Cards? Chess? Any game goes! 

    Bring your friends & family for an exciting afternoon of games!

    A variety of games will be available from card games to board games such as Chess and Candyland!

    You may also bring some of your own.

    Practice your English conversation skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. All levels are welcome.

    No sessions on November 30, December 7 and December 14. Next session will be on December 21, 2024.

    Regular weekly sessions resume on Saturday January 11, 2025.

    For children 7-12, interested in learning to play chess and finding out more about the game. Teen volunteers will be on hand to help those who are learning!

    Every Third Saturday of the month please join us for a program that features:

    · dimmed lighting

    · sensory toys

    · a smaller number of participants

    · an adapted circle time with stories, rhymes and songs

    During this program there will be opportunities for open play and a chance to connect with other families. The circle time portion of this program is offered in the last 20 minutes of the session. A family member must be present for the duration of the program.

    This program provides a welcoming environment and respects the needs of children from 18 months to 6 years who live with developmental disabilities and/or autism, or who show signs of a developmental delay.

    Join us for adult chess, all levels welcome; an instructor will be available! Come meet new people and have fun. :)

    Stories, rhymes and songs for children of all ages and a parent or caregiver. Stay and Play afterwards.​
