    Reach up high. Touch the sky.  Join us for a high energy, interactive musical storytime that engages your child with gross motor skills & early literacy fun using books, songs, music, dance & musical instruments. 

    Registration required.  Ages 4-6.

    * Note this is the same program offered at Carp, Hazeldean and Beaverbrook branches.  Please register for the location most convenient.

    Welcome some poultry from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum into your library visit! Listen to them cluck and coo, touch their soft feathers and watch them scratch and peck. Through fun educational activities, students explore the characteristics, needs and lifecycle of these barnyard favourites. Family program for ages 4+.

    Are you looking for a job? Applying for volunteer positions? Come learn all the necessary skills to do so at the St-Laurent Branch of the Ottawa Public Library, with a program offered in conjunction with BGC Ottawa.

    For ages 15-24. Please register for the program. Note that this is a program series, so please show up to each date below. There will be another series offered in August.

    For ages 13-17.  The Ruth E. Dickinson branch is closing and you and your friends are still in the library working quietly on your summer school project. Mr.Lemoncello has begun his closing procedures and forgot to check the back area where you and your friends have been working. He sets the alarm and leaves for the day. You and your friends get up to leave and notice the library is locked and the alarm is set. This isn’t the first time this has happened, so Mr. Lemoncello has a “Breakout” procedure for those locked in the library that he left near the entrance. Can you and your friends breakout in time for dinner? Registration required.
