    Bring old photos to life by digitizing old prints. Then touch them up by straightening, sharpening, and removing scratches & spots using the free photo editing software Photoscape X (available for Windows and MacOS). Presented by Lynda Buske from the Ottawa PC Users' Group and the Orleans Photo Club.

  • Mommy & Me Painting - Pandas

    Registration opens on Monday, May 19, 2025 - 10:00am

    Join us for a story followed by an opportunity to create a work of art together! A child and their guardian will receive canvases and paint them so that come together to make an image.

    Note: The program is limited to 1 child per 1 guardian. One registration reserves a spot for a guardian and a child.

    Registration required. For children age 8 and their guardian.

    Maintaining healthy eating habits throughout the lifespan is important. Participants will learn about changing dietary needs and eating habits as we age, reflect on their own eating habits, needs and challenges, discuss healthy eating, and explore opportunities to expand their options.​

    Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and create your very first project: book bag.

    Our intro to sewing program will take you through the steps of setting up, threading and using a sewing machine.

    All materials will be provided. Must be able to commit to all three sessions.

    Adults are invited to join us in making their own cards. Make greeting cards for your loved ones for any occasion. Supplies are provided but feel free to also bring your own. All skill levels are welcome. Come along and have fun! Registration is required.

    Presented by Dying With Dignity Canada (Ottawa Chapter), End of Life Options (including MAiD) is a workshop to educate people about the options available to mitigate or end suffering at life's end, including palliative care, treatment options, and Medical Assistance In Dying (MAiD). Workshop includes the current legislation on MAiD, the process for applying in Ontario and explanation of the experience by a loved one.
