    This is a group for people who love to write.

    Participants meet every second Saturday to discuss all things writing, whether it be highlighting their work, exchanging feedback or above all else, sharing their passion for the craft.  Practitioners from all skill levels and writing genres are welcome.

    Registration preferred. Drop-ins are welcome.

    The Caregivers Death Café is for anyone who is currently, or who has ever been, in a caregiving role. Providing care to someone who sick or facing death can often greatly impact the caregiver’s relationship with their own mortality. This death café gives caregivers the chance to openly talk about their feelings, thoughts, and experiences around dying, death, grief, and loss.

    Learn to create beautiful, delicate, raised images from paper strips. You’ll use a few basic tools to wind the paper strips into coils to create a flower note card.

    Attend the second workshop of our "Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL) Presents..." series.
    During this workshop, we will discuss different types of pollinators/wildlife and how they have evolved with native plants to be their pollination and distribution systems. We will also examine factors to be considered when choosing plants for your personal garden, ensuring plant selection for the conditions you have.

    Examples of simple plans/combinations will be provided. 

    Materials will be available for clients to sketch out plans for their yard.

    Date: Tuesday, September 24 from 6 pm - 7 pm.

    Mohr, Connemara). Scotland includes Hebrides, Edinburgh, Inverness, Shetland Islands. Presented by Lynda Buske from the Ottawa PC Users’ Group and the Orleans Photo Club.
