This workshop encourages students to look at the shapes, colours and patterns used in the works on display in the Ottawa Art Gallery’s Norman Takeuchi exhibition, Shape in Between: Norman Takeuchi- A Retrospective. We will then apply the principles and elements of design we discussed using Norman Takeuchi’s work in the creation of a series of handmade stickers. Rétrospective de Norman Takeuchi présentée à la Galerie d'art d'Ottawa. Nous appliquerons ensuite les principes et les éléments de conception discutés en s’inspirant du travail de l’artiste pour créer une série d’autocollants réalisés à la main. Pour les 9-12 ans.

There are four time slots available on either July 5 or July 12 - 1:30 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:00 pm and 3:45 pm. Please register for only one time slot. You will have 30 minutes to "escape"! There is a maximum of 10 people per time slot. 

Learning to read or reading on your own, come in and meet new people and talk about great new  or old books. Listen to a read aloud, share your favourite book or just come and get some fresh ideas on what to read next. All while making a craft or two!

Ages 4 to 6 (parental attendance is optional but not required). Please register with a library card.
