    Find warmth in the winter season with camaraderie, conversation and crafting at this casual, drop-in meet-up! Bring your own craft project and supplies to work on in the good company of your neighbourhood and community. 

    Open to adults (18+) of all levels of interest and ability. Bring your knitting, crochet, hand-stitching, coloring, drawing etc. (nothing messy or requiring machinery please!). Don't have a project? No problem! Options will be provided.

    Held every 2nd and 4th Thursday, January - April.

    Get creative with watercolours and wax. Traditional watercolours, including a fun wax resist technique.  It's all about going outside the lines and adding shape, shadow, pattern and dimension.

    Faites preuve de créativité avec des aquarelles et de la cire.. Aquarelles traditionnelles incluant une technique à la cire. On dépasse les lignes et on ajoute de la forme, de l'ombrage, des motifs et de la dimension.

    Jump, shoot, roll and glide; can you find the science in sport? Take a test to discover where your dominance lies. Create a sculpture to investigate how throwing a ball affects your balance. Discover physics by engineering a better hockey puck and building a mini golf course. Join us as we shoot, score and explore the science of sport. Presented by Scientists in Schools. Ages 8-12.

Explorez votre imaginaire en bougeant avec les artistes de Tara Luz Danse de façon ludique et créative. Cette activité multisensorielle se terminera avec un coloriage en lien avec l’atelier vécu.     In this mask-making workshop facilitated by Ottawa Art Therapy Inc, participants will take a creative journey to express and uncover the layers of their true self, what is important to them, and the parts of their world where they find connection. The participants will be working with a variety of materials, allowing a multi-media approach to their process. This dynamic workshop offers not only artistic fulfillment but also a deeper understanding of who they are and a time to tap into their inner artist and connect with others on a similar journey. Ages 7-12.

This lab is equipped with bookable work stations that allow you to digitize your old photographs, slides and negatives, as well as your VHS tapes and 8mm film reels. This tour will be an orientation of the equipment, the stations and the online booking system.
