    A school readiness program for children 3-4 years-old, who will be entering kindergarten in September 2023, and their adult co-learner.

    Stories and child-centered learning stations focusing on foundational concepts of letter recognition, numeracy, colors, shapes, measurement, rhyming and retelling.

    Unleash is a “choose your own adventure” interactive concert where Kathryn Patricia uses music to explore the storytelling medium.Using a storyboard format, participants will venture through sound, with the music from her EP The Unleash. Within this concert experience, participants have the opportunity to create their own storyline fuelled by music inspiration. Featuring both dance-like melodies and unusual sounds, participants will draw, and/or write their own story featuring characters of their own creation. | Unleash est un concert interactif  où les participants choisissent leur propre aventure au cours duquel Kathryn Patricia utilise la musique pour explorer le moyen de raconter des histoires. À l'aide d'une scénarisation, les participants s'aventureront à travers le son, grâce à la musique de son EP The Unleash. Dans le cadre du concert, les élèves ont la possibilité de créer leur propre scénario en s'inspirant de la musique. Avec des mélodies de danse et des sons inhabituels, les participants dessineront et/ou écriront leur propre histoire avec des personnages de leur création.

    Welcome some poultry from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum into your library visit! Listen to them cluck and coo, touch their soft feathers and watch them scratch and peck. Through fun educational activities, students explore the characteristics, needs and lifecycle of these barnyard favourites. Family program for ages 4+.

    For this program, Parrot Partners will bring at least 3 parrots, from different areas of the world, ranging in size from very small and ‘spunky’ to massive and ‘mellow.’  We introduce each parrot, one at a time, and share interesting and entertaining facts and stories about their natures and lives in the wild and in our homes.   Participants will be offered the opportunity to give our parrots a treat or drink from a safety cup or feeding skewer, as well as pose for photos with the parrots. Family Program for ages 5+.

    Parrot Partners is the only rehabilitation program for Parrots in Canada that combines professional training, education, and rehabilitation in the charitable service of relinquished and misunderstood parrots.
