    About Sarah

Sarah is an experienced and versatile artist who draws inspiration from the many diverse landscapes across Canada. Originally from Southampton, Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron, Sarah’s careers as an art and English teacher and professional artist have led her across Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. Sarah’s several hundred-square-foot exterior murals can be found across the Northwest Territories on airport hangars and elementary schools, and she has often led urban beautification initiatives in the cities and towns in which she has lived. She often encourages others to experience joy and appreciation in their own painting abilities through teaching art to youth, leading community art initiatives and hosting paint night events.

Sarah is currently a member of the West Carleton Arts Society, Arteast Ottawa, Arts Carleton Place and has recently shown at the Kanata Civic Art Gallery, Galerie Old Chelsea and Galerie Annexe in the Ottawa Art Gallery.
