    Storytelling Open Mic is a perfect place for newcomers to discover oral storytelling in a warm and supportive atmosphere or for more experienced tellers to test out new stories. Listeners are needed and welcome! You will hear folk tales, historical pieces, fractured fairy tales, true personal stories, recitations, ballads, and original stories - ranging from funny to poignant. Attendees can listen or tell a story 5-10 minutes long.

    Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and craft your very first project: a drawstring bag. This two-hour session will take you through the steps of setting up, threading, and using a sewing machine. 

    The same lesson takes place once a month. Please register for one session only. Registration limited to 5 spaces.

    A 90-minute collaborative story building adventure for groups of children aged 6-12. Children share, combine and vote their favourite ideas into a story fit for a picture book! They also draw colorful pictures to add more detail to the choices they've made.
