    Drop in to try some of the many games on our Oculus Rift system! 

    Test your reflexes with Beat Saber or Fruit Ninja, explore oceans or mountains, ride roller coasters, defend your castle or spaceship from attack, see the world with Google Earth, and more! 

    Single-player games, all game text/dialogue in English 

    How it works: come during the session to sign up for a 10-minute time slot (first come first served, no sign-ups ahead of time) 

    Ages: 11 to Adult (headset may be too large to fit smaller/younger players) 

    Safety tip: to prevent falls, wear flat, closed shoes (no flip-flops or high heels)

    Registration opens on Monday, January 6, 2025 - 10:00am

    In these 2 - two-hour sessions, paper crafter, Lorena Severson, will teach you the basic shapes and techniques of quilling. The goal is to complete a butterfly project at the end of the second session.

    **You must be available for the 2 - two hour sessions**

  • Tuesday Jan 28, 2025 at 2:30pm (series runs until Mar 25, 2025)

    Do you love browsing through cookbooks and trying new recipes?  Then come and meet with other food enthusiasts and put a cookbook to the test!

    Each month will be a different cookbook!  We will then make recipes at home and share comments with the group on the results.

    You will receive the cookbooks of the month at the meetings.

    Join us once a month for lively discussions on books in a variety of genres and voices.

    Cover to Cover has two groups reading the same books at different times of the year. By registering for this program, you are registering for a Thursday evening session. Please register for each session you would like to participate in.

    When you register, a physical copy will already be available to you! If you are on the waitlist, or if you would prefer a different format such as an e-book, audiobook, or large print (if available), please click on the title link below to place a hold through your own account.

    Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, bracelet-weaving, or other fiber arts projects to work on alongside other young fiber-artists. Share advice, ideas, and conversation in a relaxed social environment!

    A drop-in program for teen crafters of all skill levels.

    Note: this is a hang-out, not a lesson!

    Curious about Dungeons and Dragons (a.k.a. 'that game from Stranger Things')? Give it a try with this one-session-long adventure for beginners!  

    D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which you and other players take on the role of different characters to explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Learn the basic rules of this popular game as you undertake an adventure with fellow players!   

    This adventure uses pre-generated characters, so you must register by Thursday February 13th to receive a list of characters to choose from and receive your character info-sheet before game-day. Late registrants and those who do not reply to the character-choosing email will be assigned a random character. 

    Ages: 12-18

    Note: Can't attend this session? Register to join the repeat of this game scheduled on Wednesday March 12th!

    Relieve your stress and relax your mind with yoga teacher, Vincent Côté. Learn basic yoga postures, various breathing methods and some philosophy of yoga. 

    Bring your yoga mat.
