Teen Volunteers share their Social Media knowledge with older Adults in a two-on-one setting.  

Areas of technology help will focus on user’s personal account use by initial setting up of the accounts and how use the site:

We all have them... those ancestors that we just can't find. These brick walls can stop us in our tracks during genealogy research, leaving us stumped. This presentation will teach you tips and tricks for chipping away at the brick wall, including working around our assumptions and resources to look at for help. 

Participants will create their own tile art. Using 4x4 or 3x6 sized tiles, participants will create an abstract or still life image with alcohol-based markers and acrylic paints. Its time to show off your artistic flair!

Calling all trivia fans, game show enthusiasts, and people who know a lot of random facts! Join us for a trivia night at the Beaverbrook Branch where you'll tackle questions from a wide range of categories (not just about books!) to win a prize and the respect of the trivia community. Enjoy a fun atmosphere, good music, questions for teens and older adults alike, and refreshments!
