Each meeting we will have a book battle to choose the book we will be reading that month.

The Stittsville Creative Writing Group is a collection of people who love to write.
We meet weekly to read from text we have written on our own time during the previous week, and engage in other writing activities.
This is not a class on writing, or a workshop for manuscripts. Instead, we are people who love to write and share our works.
There are those who mostly listen rather than write, those who write prolifically but only share with the group, and a broad spectrum in between.
If your interest is in the love of writing, this group may be for you.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon, with a craft and a cup of tea. All supplies will be provided. All skill levels welcome. In this session, we will be making small gift boxes with colourful scrapbook paper.
Let your creativity flow with Pop-up Painters. Transform a blank canvas into a Snowy Starry Night painting! Guided tutorial and supplies will be provided. Registration is required. Ages 8 and up.
Paint me a Picture workshop is part of Emerald Plaza’s Holiday Open House. Throughout the day enjoy light refreshments, make holiday gift supplies at our crafting table, and play our life-sized Candy Land game all day long.
This is a group for people who love to write.
Participants meet every second Saturday to discuss all things writing, whether it be highlighting their work, exchanging feedback or above all else, sharing their passion for the craft. Practitioners from all skill levels and writing genres are welcome.

Get into the festive spirit whether you are celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or simply some well-earned time off. Adults are invited to make their own greeting cards. Supplies are provided. Bring yourself & your creativity to this self-guided program!

predators? As they explore these questions through games and investigations, kids can enjoy a face-toface visit with a rabbit, and pet its soft fur through this program with the Canada Agriculture and Food
Museum.

The Stittsville Branch Afternoon Book Club meet on the third Monday of most months and read a variety of fiction and non-fiction books. Registration is required.
For Ages 10-18. Drop-in on Mondays between 4:30 and 6:30 pm for Youth Scrabble - an incredibly exciting activity that provides a challenging and stimulating experience for players. The game requires players to use their vocabulary, strategy, and critical thinking skills to create and place words on the board while competing against others. Whether you're an experienced player or a beginner, the fast-paced and competitive nature of the game is sure to keep you engaged and focused. Additionally, the social aspect of Club Scrabble is not to be underestimated, as players can meet new people, share their love of the game, and have fun together. Overall, Youth Scrabble is an exhilarating and satisfying pastime that offers mental stimulation, social interaction, and a lot of excitement. Registration is optional. Drop-ins are welcome.
