    Join us for a tour of the Digitization Lab. This lab is equipped with bookable work stations that allow you to digitize your old photographs, slides and negatives, as well as your VHS and 8mm films. This tour will be an orientation of the equipment, the stations and the online booking system.

    Participez à des rencontres sociales pour discuter d’une grande variété de livres sélectionnés par les membres du club de lecture. Cette activité est ouverte à tous. Les personnes inscrites ont la responsabilité d’obtenir un exemplaire du livre à lire ou à écouter.

    Le livre du mois est Ferdinand, je suis à Paris par Jean-Claude Charles.

    Veuillez réserver une place pour chaque adulte présent. Chaque personne doit avoir sa propre carte de bibliothèque pour pouvoir s’inscrire à l’activité. Vous pouvez obtenir une carte de bibliothèque ici :

    Join us for a 5 week parent/baby course where you will learn how to use the nurturing touch to bond with your pre-crawler. Classes are held in a relaxed atmosphere and will teach you how to massage your baby while learning the many benefits that come from the nurturing touch. It will also increase your confidence and ability to care for and nurture your baby. ​

    *To take part, please bring a small blanket for your baby as well as an exercise/yoga mat. Babies must be 0 to 10 months and dressed in easy to remove clothing. ​

    New to independent reading? Join our family book club and discover great reading suggestions to get you started and keep you going. We will share favorites, listen to read-alouds and participate in book-related activities. For kids ages 6-8 and their adult reading partner.

    Writing group for teens 13-17, facilitated by the Stittsville Creative Writing Group. A member of the SCWG will help teens express their ideas in writing through a variety of lessons and formats. Encouraging the next generation of writers will strengthen literacy in the future.               

     Participants are asked to come prepared to write, with a device or pen/pencil and paper.
