    Want to learn to sew or would like a refresher on how to use a sewing machine? Our intro to sewing course will cover the basics of threading the machine, basic stitches and more. We will be creating a book tote. All materials will be provided. Must be able to commit to all three sessions.

    This bookclub is for kids ages 10-13 and will be in English.  Registration is required as space is limited.

    For our first meeting on Tuesday, 15 Oct at 4:00PM. 

    **Bring at least one suggestion of a book to suggest to the group to read.** 

    From this, we will create our list of books for the remaining meetings.  

    We will meet once a month, on a Tuesday from 4-5PM on these dates:

    Join Sandra Spicer from the Home Hospice Association for a group-directed discussion of death. This event doesn’t have any particular objectives or themes aside from increasing everyone’s awareness of death and exploring our relationships with death, dying and grief. As we grapple with what life looks like today, having a safe and non-judgmental space to talk about difficult subjects is so important and can have a significant impact both on how we live and how we die.

    Pregnancy Circles offer pregnant individuals a place to learn how to care for your baby and to talk about concerns about your pregnancy with a Public Health Nurse. It is also an opportunity to connect with others and share experiences.

    Specific topics will include:

    • Being pregnant
    • Healthy eating and active living
    • Safe pregnancy
    • Birth basics
    • Feeding your baby
    • Preparing for parenthood
    • And more!

    The program at the North Gloucester location is only being offered in English. The program is offered in 2-hour sessions, weekly, for 6 weeks. All sessions are available at no cost!

    Due to limited space, the sessions are currently for pregnant individuals only.
