    Get ready to experiment with light. Participants will use flashlights and other equipment to learn about light and colour. A simple kaleidoscope craft will enhance their study of the magic of light. Presented by Let’s Talk Science. For ages 7-9. Registration required.

    Participants will learn how to describe what creditors look for when approving a consumer for credit; list 5 components of your credit score, distinguish between secured and unsecured financing, and avoid various credit traps.     Learn old school codes, solve perplexing puzzles, make a decoder ring, solve rebus puzzles, and try to escape the library!

    Create your own 5-minute story to tell. Children each create their own unique tale while guided through 
    the use of Timm's Mini Book Maker worksheet, adding key words and check points to create the skeleton 
    of a great story! Once the stories are created, participants are invited to tell their stories to the group or 
    have Timm perform their stories with interactive sounds effects and actions! Attendees must be able to 
    write words on their own or have a parent with them to assist. Presented by local author Timm Holmes. 

    Ages 7-12. Registration required. English event.
