    This lecture is a demonstration of how to bring old photos back to life! The lecture will discuss different ways to digitize your photos and then provide a demonstration of how to touch them up using the free photo editing software Photoscape X (available for Windows and MacOS).

    Presented by Lynda Buske from the Ottawa PC Users' Group and the Orleans Photo Club.

Chris Taylor, President of the Ottawa PC Users' Group will show how to use free software that stores all your usernames and passwords along with related information and protects them with a single, very strong password. Don't let your online accounts get compromised. It's easy and free.

    Join us for a tour of the Digitization Lab. This lab is equipped with bookable work stations that allow you to digitize your old photographs, slides and negatives, as well as your VHS tapes and 8mm film reels. This tour will be an orientation of the equipment, the stations and the online booking system.

    Curious about Dungeons and Dragons, or just learning how to play and need some practise? Give it a try with this one-session-long adventure for beginners and returning players! D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which your characters explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Learn the basic rules of this popular game as you undertake an adventure with fellow players.

    Cover to Cover has multiplied!

    Join us once a month for lively discussions on books in a variety of genres and voices.

    Starting September 2024, there will be two groups reading the same books, but at different times of the year. Choose a morning session - Daybreak Discussions - or evening session - Nightfall Forum - that works with your schedule.

    When you register for a session, there is no need to request a physical copy, as one will be ready for you! If you would prefer a different format such as an e-book or audiobook, please click on the title link below to place a hold through your own account.

    Want to learn to sew or would like a refresher on how to use a sewing machine? Our intro to sewing course will cover the basics of threading the machine, basic stitches and more. We will be creating a book tote. All materials will be provided. Must be able to commit to all three sessions.

    This bookclub is for kids ages 10-13 and will be in English.  Registration is required as space is limited.

    From this, we will create our list of books for the remaining meetings.  

    We will meet once a month, on a Tuesday from 4-5PM on these dates:
