    Join a band of adventurers as they set out from the seaside town of Dragonsbourne. This will be a three-part adventure that takes place in the ongoing location of Dragonsbourne, and its surroundings. Though this game is intended for teens who have played D&D before, beginners are also welcome. Please bring a 1st or 2nd level character and dice. Pre-made characters and dice will be provided for those who do not have their own.  This game is intended for ages 13-17.

    Drop by to play some of the many games on our Oculus Rift system! Explore mountains or deep seas, ride roller coasters, soar as an eagle, challenge your agility with Beat Saber or Fruit Ninja, defend your castle as an archer or your spaceship with a laser, and many more! 

    All games are single-player with English dialogue/text.

    Safety tip: to prevent falls, wear closed flat shoes, not flip-flops or heels

    In this mask-making workshop facilitated by Ottawa Art Therapy Inc, participants will take a creative journey to express and uncover the layers of their true self, what is important to them, and the parts of their world where they find connection. The participants will be working with a variety of materials, allowing a multi-media approach to their process. This dynamic workshop offers not only artistic fulfillment but also a deeper understanding of who they are and a time to tap into their inner artist and connect with others on a similar journey. Ages 13-18.

    A one-hour online workshop featuring a film industry professional who will share their own experiences in the industry and provide an overview of career paths in Canadian film and television. Presented by REEL Canada. Ages 13-18.

    About the Speakers

    Kourtney Jackson is a Toronto-based writer and filmmaker interested in hybridized, experimental forms of storytelling that exist within and transcend the physical body. Centred in the socio-cultural collisions of subjectivity, surveillance, and societal prescriptions of identity, her films 1 versus 1 (2018) and Wash Day (2020) have screened locally and internationally at festivals including TIFF Next Wave, BlackStar Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival (Ignite x Adobe), and many more. She currently works as a Program Coordinator at the OYA Black Arts Coalition.

    The workshop will be facilitated by Eric Bizzarri, who is an award-winning Canadian director and producer based in Toronto, and the Co-Founder and CEO of the Future of Film Showcase, a film festival based in Toronto, ON.
