Join a band of adventurers as they set out from the seaside town of Dragonsbourne. This will be a three-part adventure that takes place in the ongoing location of Dragonsbourne, and its surroundings. Though this game is intended for teens who have played D&D before, beginners are also welcome. Please bring a 1st or 2nd level character and dice. Pre-made characters and dice will be provided for those who do not have their own. This game is intended for ages 13-17.

minutesAn overdose is a life-threatening medical emergency. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, while waiting for 911 to arrive. Being able to recognize the signs of an overdose quickly and having a naloxone kit can save a life.
Join Ottawa Public Health nurses for this 30-minute virtual information and training session on how to identify and respond to an overdose, including how to administer Naloxone, followed by a 15-minute Q&A. Information on how to obtain a free kit will be provided as part of this presentation.

D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which your characters explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Meet new players as you undertake an adventure in this popular game!
For this adventure, you must build your own Level 2 character within certain guidelines, so you must register at least 6 days in advance to create your character and submit their character-sheet for DM approval before game-day. Late registrants will be assigned a random pre-generated character.

The Stittsville Creative Writing Group – Youth Program (SCWG-YP) is an extension of the adult program with the goals of: fostering creativity and literacy in the next generation, inspiring future writers, and preserving the art of the written word.
Participants are youth 13-17 years of age, unless granted an exemption. SCWG-YP participants and members meet once a month, on the third Monday of the month from 6:30pm-8:00pm, for a series of lectures and writing exercises designed to achieve the group’s goals. The group is led by an adult member of the SCWG.
Deliverables undertaken by the SCWG-YP include:
· Discussion on writing theory;
· Practical lessons on writing;
· In-session and independent writing exercises;
· Appraisal and workshopping of ideas, and
· Guidance on creative writing and practical advice about publishing.
