    Join us for a preschool circle time with lots of stories, rhymes and songs, followed by a craft. Children are encouraged to bring an item or photo to share/talk about with the other participants.  

    For children aged 3-4 (starting kindergarten in the fall of 2024) and a parent/caregiver. Siblings are welcome.

    Let’s get creative! Participants will be provided with all the materials needed to complete the craft, from start to finish. No prior skills needed!

    This month we will be creating greeting cards with the help of a Cricut Maker 3.

  • Naloxone kit

    An overdose is a life-threatening medical emergency. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, while waiting for 911 to arrive. Being able to recognize the signs of an overdose quickly and having a naloxone kit can save a life.  

    Join Ottawa Public Health nurses for training on how to identify and respond to an overdose, including how to administer Naloxone. Free kits will be available to participants at the end of the session.

    Interested in Dungeons & Dragons? Join us for two sessions of D&D activities! On the first day, we will introduce the game system, character building, and what sort of D&D accessories you can make in the Imagine Space. In two weeks, we will reconvene to play a single session one-shot featuring your characters and accessories provided by the library. 

    Beginners and experienced players welcome.
