    Curious about Dungeons and Dragons? Give it a try with this one-session-long adventure for beginners!

    D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which your characters explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Learn the basic rules of this popular game as you undertake a mission with fellow players!

    This adventure uses pre-generated characters, so you must register at least 5 days in advance to bid of your preference of character and get your info sheet before game-day. Late registrants will be assigned a random character.

    Ages 12-17

    Note: this session is a repeat of the adventure played on January 23rd and January 30th, so if you played that session, it would not be as fun knowing the puzzles and enemies ahead of time. Stay tuned for new games coming up in April/May!

    Writing group for teens 13-17, facilitated by the Stittsville Creative Writing Group. A member of the SCWG will help teens express their ideas in writing through a variety of lessons and formats. Encouraging the next generation of writers will strengthen literacy in the future.               

     Participants are asked to come prepared to write, with a device or pen/pencil and paper.

    CBC Music’s Jam Squad is coming to the Ottawa Public Library! In a 60-minute workshop, the Jam Squad will help you create music in GarageBand. Registration required. Tablets will be provided, all you need is your creativity! This workshop is brought to you by CBC Music. For ages 8-13. One parent or guardian must accompany each participant.

    We're celebrating the annual Paper Bag Princess Day! Dress up as your favourite character, prince or princess, knight or dragon! We will celebrate with a book reading and re-telling of the story (be ready to show us your acting skills!) and a story related craft. Lots of interactive fun!

    Welcome to the amusement park - where we’ll be bumping, spinning, zipping and rolling! Discover the actions and reactions of bumper cars. Explore the forces at work when you spin. Create a zipline while investigating gravity. Design a roller coaster to meet a challenge. It’s all about the physics of riding ‘n’ rolling!

    Ages 4 to 12.
