    Join us for a fun afternoon of holiday card making. From snowflakes to reindeer, decorate your cards however you wish using a range of stencils, paints, ribbon and more. 

    No experience needed, all supplies will be provided, just bring your imagination!

    Storytelling Open Mic is a perfect place for newcomers to discover oral storytelling in a warm and supportive atmosphere or for more experienced tellers to test out new stories. Listeners are needed and welcome! You will hear folk tales, historical pieces, fractured fairy tales, true personal stories, recitations, ballads, and original stories - ranging from funny to poignant. Attendees can listen or tell a story 5-10 minutes long. In collaboration with Ottawa Storytellers.

    As the weather gets colder, come down to our cozy cabin at the Manotick Library. Bring your gifts and wrap them in a festive atmosphere! We provide the wrapping paper. All ages welcome. Drop in program.

    Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and craft your very first project: a drawstring bag. This two-hour session will take you through the steps of setting up, threading, and using a sewing machine. 

    The same lesson takes place once a month. Please register for one session only. Registration limited to 5 spaces.
