    Join us for a tour of the Digitization Lab. This lab is equipped with bookable work stations that allow you to digitize your old photographs, slides and negatives, as well as your VHS and 8mm films. This tour will be an orientation of the equipment, the stations and the online booking system.

    Colouring is an excellent way to have fun and reduce stress.  Join us the first Thursday of each month for a relaxing session of colouring and peaceful background music.  An opportunity to meet others and express your creative side!  

    All supplies are provided.  No experience or special skills required.

    Actual nights/evenings are back!

    Ottawa Bad Movie Nights and Ottawa Public Library present a screening of House (1977).

    Please join us from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, at the OPL's Main Branch Auditorium. The event will also feature other bad movie items like trailers and serials.

    The film is free to attend, In Japanese with English subtitles.

    Note: This film is intended for a mature audience. Viewer discretion is advised.

    Come join the Ottawa Municipal Liaisons of NaNoWriMo for a few hours of writing and chatting during Camp NaNoWriMo!

    Camp NaNoWriMo is your next, great writing adventure! This month-long writing challenge takes place every April and July, and offers you the flexibility to try something new with your writing. The key differences between Camp NaNoWriMo and our November writing challenge are that during Camp, you can set your own word-count goal, and you can officially tackle any kind of writing project, novel or not.
