    Build simple prototypes and test them! There’s no wrong prototype – each attempt is a learning experience. Engage with concepts like kinetic energy, simple machines, speed, distance, friction, and more as you create an experiment. Presented by STEMquest. Ages 4-6. Registration required.

    Get ready for a storytelling adventure that will test the limits of your imagination. We are playing Festival Fit for the Fey. You can bring your own level 1 character or we can send you a list to choose from. Registration required. Ages 9-12.

    Create your own 5-minute story to tell. Children each create their own unique tale while guided through 
    the use of Timm's Mini Book Maker worksheet, adding key words and check points to create the skeleton 
    of a great story! Once the stories are created, participants are invited to tell their stories to the group or 
    have Timm perform their stories with interactive sounds effects and actions! Attendees must be able to 
    write words on their own or have a parent with them to assist. Presented by local author Timm Holmes.

    You’ve found Carmen Sandiego’s secret hideout but now you’re trapped inside! Find and decypher all the clues in our escape room before the time is up!

    Come join award-winning author & illustrator Rob Justus for a goofy character draw-along. Rob will highlight some of his work, but more importantly give a quick tutorial on some of the basics of drawing and creating fun-loving characters. These workshops are for any level of budding artists.

    DIY Spy!

    The Canada Science and Technology Museum will be challenging participants to design their own spy 
    gadget! Learn about technologies used in the past and today to inspire your own design! These could 
    range from technologies to enhance your senses, to ways to covertly communicate with allies. What will 
    you come up with? Ages 7-12. Registration required.
