  • Armchair travel - Ireland/Scotland

    Photos and narration from multiple trips via car, ship, bus. Ireland includes Cork, Dublin,

    Northern Ireland (Belfast, Londonderry, Giant’s Causeway) and the west coast (Cliffs of Mohr, Connemara). Scotland includes Hebrides, Edinburgh, Inverness, Shetland Islands.

    them cluck and coo, touch their soft feathers and watch them scratch and peck. Through fun 
    educational activities, participants explore the characteristics, needs and lifecycle of these barnyard 
    favourites. Family program for ages 4+. Register online.

    Museum.

    Family program for ages 4+.

    Les lapins sont-ils tous identiques? De quoi ont-ils besoin? Qu’est-ce qu’un lièvre, où vit-il et quels sont 
    ses prédateurs? Alors qu’ils explorent ces questions par le jeu et l’enquête, les enfants font aussi 
    connaissance avec un lapin et caressent sa douce fourrure avec le Musée de l'agriculture et de 
    l'alimentation du Canada.

    Programme familial pour les 4+ ans.

    Join us for a workshop presented by the Ontario Legal Information Centre. This workshop will address topics such as tenants’ rights & obligations - before the tenancy begins (discrimination, deposit, pets, tenancy agreement) - after the tenancy begins (Tenant Insurance, maintenance and repairs, quiet enjoyment of the rental unit, payment of rent, eviction) and how to pursue a LTB matter (what is the Landlord & Tenant Board, how to file an application against a landlord).

    Curious about Dungeons and Dragons (a.k.a. 'that game from Stranger Things')? Give it a try with this one-session-long adventure for beginners!  

    D&D is a popular fantasy role-playing game in which you and other players take on the role of different characters to explore, solve puzzles, and fight or outwit monsters. Learn the basic rules of this popular game as you undertake an adventure with fellow players!   

    This adventure uses pre-generated characters, so you must register by Thursday February 13th to receive a list of characters to choose from and receive your character info-sheet before game-day. Late registrants and those who do not reply to the character-choosing email will be assigned a random character. 

    Ages: 12-18

    Note: Can't attend this session? Register to join the repeat of this game scheduled on Wednesday March 12th!
