Join Rhona Einbinder, certified yoga instructor, for 30 minutes of exercise to improve your overall fitness effectively, but safely, beginning with gentle warmup stretching and leading into movements. Some exercises will have the optional modification of using light hand weights for an added challenge. The sessions will end with simple exercises for increasing flexibility and strength. Have a couple of light handweights (or small water bottles or soup cans) ready for the arm exercises and be sure to have a sturdy chair available.
Rhona is a certified yoga instructor (300 hours Yoga World Alliance certification and working towards 500 hour certification), specializing in yoga and fitness for seniors, yin and restorative yoga, ashtanga and vinyasa/power flow, as well as yoga for runners and athletes. Her yoga classes are adaptable to all levels and ages, and combine active yang poses with restorative and yin asana.
