25/04/2013Anne Lamott has written a powerful book, really more like a hardcover essay, likely the most honest and human book of prayer there is. A book to be read in one sitting because you have to and then again in contemplation because you need to. There are stories of prayers uttered on bended knee and those that come from a place that is straight and angry. When you consider how angry God must have been to send The Flood, perhaps strong emotion is acceptable. Meek isn't for everyone.Blog Entry

UPDATE: Curbside services during the stay-at-home order– effective Apr. 8
08/04/2021Starting Thursday, April 8:
- All our open branches will offer curbside returns and holds pick up.
- Customers will no longer be permitted to enter the buildings.
- The Bookmobile and Homebound Services will continue.
- Hours of operation will remain the same.
- Borrowed items can only be returned when branches are open.
- Mask wearing outside in line remains mandatory.
